Photography
Depth of Field
In this depth-of-field study, I arranged a shallow depth of field using a wide aperture (f/5.6, 1/200) and a focal length of 55.0 mm.
Blind composition
In blind composition photography, unexpected but surprising compositions will result when the photo is taken at unusual perspectives and allowing the camera’s autofocus to arrange the composition.
Macro Photography
For this macro study, I used a set of three extension tubes.
The ideal magnification is at 1:1, where a 1-inch object is also projected at 1-inch on the camera sensor. True macro is anything that has been magnified at a ratio of 1:1 or higher.
Exaggerated
Perspective
For this exaggerated perspective, I shot the photo at ISO 200, F22.0 (1/6 shutter speed), and a focal length of 25.mm.
HDR Photography
High Dynamic Range combines several photos of a subject to capture a range of light. For this interior photo, I shot at ISO 100, F 10, and a range of shutter speeds from .4, 1/5, and 1/10.
Aperture Study
This photo of Falls Park was shot at ISO 200 and a focal length of 55.0 mm. In the top image, an aperture of F 5.6 (1/500) was used to freeze the movement of water. In the bottom photo, an aperture of F 32.0 (1/13) was used to create a sense of motion by blurring the water.
Triptych
Composition
In this triptych photography, I arranged antique keys to create a composition that draws the focus inward to the center.
